Swappa: The Rules

Please make sure you have read the rules THOROUGHLY before submitting your entry

  • FM will randomly link you with a Swap Buddy and send a contest entry confirmation to both of you, one will be defined as 1st shooter and will supply the film roll and post it to the assigned Swap Buddy, the other will be defined as 2nd shooter and will take care of the film processing and submission via email of the digital copies.
  • Submitting your entry you commit to: –
    • (if  you are the 1st shooter) to shoot the entire roll of film and send it by mail (or courier) to your Swap Buddy within 7 days from the receipt of the contest entry confirmation. Once you’re done shooting, rewind the film so that the starting tab is still out! (see tutorial here)
    • (if  you are the 2nd shooter) to shoot the entire roll  within 7 days from receipt , process it and then  send digital copies to your Swap Buddy
  • You enter the contest until Sunday 29th of September and you have time until the 31st of October to send us your photos.
  • You can re-enter the contest only after  your photos have been received by FM Team (we will send you a confirmation by email). To re-enter, fill the entry form again and we will link you to a new Swap Buddy
  • The winners will be contacted by email
  • The judges’ verdict is final. Judging is fair and unbiased.
  • Copyright of any photo remains with the authors, but the photos must be available for publication in the photo-book. Fluster Magazine has the unrestricted right to publish the winning photos in its magazine, on its website, and in any related material for PR purposes.
  • Fluster Magazine holds publishing rights for both the physical format and the electronic formats of the photo-book. Copyright remains with the authors.
  • Photographers whose photos will be included in the photo-book will automatically enter a draw via random.org for: a FIGOSA neck strap, a film supply for a year (a total of 12 rolls) and  LOMOGRAPHY Diana Mini camera.
  • Entrants recognize that the remuneration as agreed above covers completely the value of his/her work and corresponds absolutely to the payment for intellectual rights and therefore have no further claim, financial or other.
  • Entrants agree to receive Lomography Newsletters via email (LOMOGRAPHY will not pass your email address to third parties for any reason and you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • Entry is taken to be acceptance of these rules.
