If there is one thing we love here at Fluster Magazine, it’s discovering creative talent and sharing it with the world! That is why we are organising a Short Story Competition. Not only will our favourite authors have an exclusive interview on the Fluster website, their stories will be selected for a collection of short stories to be published in a book  in collaboration with Armida Publications later on in the year.

To get your creative juices flowing, take a look at our Flickr pool where you will find lots of inspirational photographs. Each story submitted must take inspiration from one of the photographs in the group. You could bring a portrait to life, use a landscape as your setting or simply create a story from the feeling the photograph evokes. Be creative!

Submission Requirements and How to Enter

• Word Limit: 3,500
• Only one entry per author may be submitted – The story has to be unpublished and not being considered for publication elsewhere
• Entries to be submitted in Word Doc format to tellatale@flustermagazine.com
• Competition opens 1^st March 2012 and the deadline is 15^th April 2012
• Entries must be in English with a short author biography
• A link must be given for the photograph from our Flickr pool which gave you the inspiration for the short story
• Best of all the competition is absolutely free!

C’è una cosa che noi di Fluster Magazine amiamo più di qualsiasi altra: scoprire nuovi talenti e condividerli con il mondo intero! Perciò stiamo organizzando un concorso per racconti brevi! Gli autori che selezioneremo vedranno il frutto delle loro fatiche pubblicato sul nostro sito e verranno intervistati da noi in esclusiva!

Traete ispirazione per i vostri racconti dai fantastici fotografi presenti nel nostro pool su Flickr : ogni racconto dovrà essere infatti ispirato a una delle fotografie presenti nel gruppo. Potete dare vita a un ritratto, usare un paesaggio come sfondo per la vostra storia oppure crearla lasciandovi trasportare dai sentimenti che una foto vi suscita. Insomma, date sfogo alla vostra creatività!

Regolamento di partecipazione:

• Lunghezza massima: 3500 parole
• Massimo un racconto per autore – il racconto dev’essere inedito e ne deve essere esclusa la pubblicazione altrove
• I racconti devono essere inviati, in formato Word Doc, all’indirizzo: tellatale@flustermagazine.com
• Il concorso inizia il 1 Marzo 2012 e il termine ultimo di partecipazione è il 15 Aprile 2012
• I racconti devono essere in italiano, accompagnati da una breve biografia dell’autore
• E’ necessario allegare il link della fotografia del nostro pool su Flickr usata come fonte di ispirazione
• Cosa più importante, la partecipazione al concorso è totalmente gratuita!
